2 Months in North Carolina
We are enjoying our time here in North Carolina. We beat the heat by hitting the pool and spray park on Mondays and Wednesday afternoons. On Memorial day we went and checked out Atlantic Beach.
Bridger had been really wanting to go on a boat for a long time so David pumped our boat up and took Bridger around, he loved every second of it as you can tell.
At the end of May we flew back to the west for the Haralson Family reunion in Idaho. It was in a beautiful location with so much space just to enjoy being outside. There was even an amazing hike right up the rode.
We had a really fun time with the whole family. Its been 6 years since we have all been together. We had so many fun activities.
I enjoyed all of my little nieces. I was able to braid their hair and give them sparkly makeup.
There were a lot of water gun and balloon fights. (I know what to get Bridger and Asher for their birthdays now)
This is the huge amazing house/ Inn that fit all 26 of us. This family reunion meant so much to all of us. The boys are still taking about it. The other day Asher drew a picture of the house and where everyone slept. We Bridger plays in sand he always builds "the family union house"
These boys LOVE games like David. We played ticket to ride. They did very well. Bridger loves blocking people. Asher loves getting the longest train.
We have a train that goes right by our house, and we were reading the favorite book "the little engine that could" In that book the train brings good toys and food to the good little boys and girls on the other side of the mountain. A couple of days latter our good little boys got a summer fun survival box on the front step that the "midnight train" had left for them.
I love going berry picking. We went blackberry picking the day before fathers day.
Dad is a wonderful father! We thanked him and spoiled him on fathers day.
The boys love the rain here. When it rains it pours!
Asher and Bridger are such good drawing buddy's. They are mirror image.
We went fishing on the forth of July, and no we didn't have a yummy catfish dinner but we did have a whole lot of fun. David taught Asher how to cast his reel and by the end of the morning he could get it really far! Me and Titus and Bridger enjoys the beautiful park we were at by sitting on a large swing eating oranges.
It rained really hard on all of the wood so we couldn't have a fire but we still enjoyed or weeny roast.
The night before the forth we watched to cities fireworks. We got rained on supper bad for the hour before waiting. Our kids thought it was the greatest thing ever. They rain down hills playing and laughing. We were wet but in a beautiful area and enjoyed watching our kids. When the fireworks started all of the boys were scared of the load noise. Asher did fine but I held Titus and calmed him down from Screaming, and David held Bridger and calmed him down from screaming. Titus did fine and enjoyed the show a lot, but Bridger was really scared he had his hands over his eyes so tight. finally David helped him to watched and he really loved it. We were so happy that he could enjoy the ending, he had been the most excited to see them all day. This was the best firework show I had ever seen. I was watching it through the eyes of my children (once they were enjoying it) we oooed and ahhhed together and clapped at the good ones. The fanalie was fast but amazing and really took my breath away. We loved it!!!!
On the forth we did our own fireworks. Titus and Bridger went to bed early because the first laud ones we did made them cry and scream again. Once they were in bed Asher, David and I enjoyed them a lot.
