March visit to Utah
Asher Bridger Titus Diane and I were lucky to take a trip to Utah. We came to visit because my sister Lindsey and here family were visiting as well. They were showing their foreign exchange student Victoria from the Ukraine around Utah.
Mom and Asher trying out a 1000 piece puzzle.
We visited temple square.
Diane put together an amazing Polish meal for us. My mother and Diane are 1/2 Polish and I am 1/4 polish, so this meals was very special to us.
My mom put together a "shoe store" for the little boys to pick out shoes from hand me downs from my cousin Cody. They really liked it.
We got to visit my favorite store kitchen kneads. I get my flour and oats here every year to take back to Colorado. Victoria is next to Lindsey, she is such a neat girl.
Grandpa took the grand-kids to buy ice cream they each got to pick out on box.
We all went ice skating at the Olympic speed skating oval. Bridger wanted to just watch, so I took Asher around and showed him how to skate, He did great. Me and Lindsey took speed skating lessons here long ago. We had a skating contest and she won.
The next day we headed up to Park City and toured the Olympic park there.
Asher is a great little Rock climber. Here we are climbing together. Park City was beautiful!
We stayed very busy. The next day we were down in Provo at BYU. We listened to Billy's quartet play, took a tour on a golf cart, and saw an art exhibit. The art exhibit was wonderful. It was masterpiece paintings of Christ from Holst and Hoffman. It was a great experience.
My parents watched the Children while Lindsey, Diane, Victoria, and I enjoyed the exhibit. (they had already been to it. Here is Bridger on campus with his blankie. Big man on campus.
My mom and dad are serving in a Spanish branch, so we got to visit that church.
Then we went to my Uncle and Aunt, Johnny and Cheryl's house for famous waffle Sunday dinner.
I picked up some coloring pages at the local grocery store. If you brought it back colored you could get candy and they would hang it on the wall. the boys colored them, but we didn't want to go to the store so we told them that they could give their picture to grandpa and he would give them ice cream.
Rocky said "me don't want ice cream, me want one of those candies" I told him that the candy might be really small he replied "me don't care how small" It was so cute. So My mom took him to the store to trade in his picture for ice cream.
We sure had a great visit, and loved spending so much time with our great family that teaches us so much!
