Yeah for family!

Its been a long time! Here is a picture update of how great life has been.
Asher and Bridger are high energy! It is a good feeling to play with them and take care of them all day, but it is also a good feeling when they are both peacefully sleeping.
They love each other. Bridger wants to do whatever Asher is doing! Asher is sweet to Bridger.

For spring break we went to Utah. It was nice to get away, and forget about thesis, jobs, school, and all that stuff for a whole week. My mom, dad, aunt Diane and Hillary watched the boys for us while we went on a 24 hour get away. We saw the Hobbit at the dollar theater, then went to my favorite restaurant as a teenager: El Rancho Le Grada. Where we enjoyed fried ice cream for dessert which has been a favorite of ours since our second date. We then headed to the anniversary Inn in downtown SLC to celebrate our 4 and 1/3s wedding anniversary. And grad school has been hard so we wanted a night just to relax. We stayed in the treasure Island themed room, it was like we were on a boat.
In Utah we also enjoyed playing laser tag, which is one of my moms favorite activities. On Saturday we stopped by my all time favorite stores: kitchen kneads. We took a bread class there and learned a lot about a bunch of cool things: Keefer, keeping bees, and making jalapeno bread. The next day Hillary gave an amazing missionary farewell talk. She will be a wonderful missionary. Its been such a joy to watch my little sister grow spiritually and grown into a lovely young lady. She will be leaving for Louisville, Kentucky on April 17. She is also Vegan and she works as a chef so she made all of the food for her farewell get together at our house. We had gumbo soup with vegetarian sausage, home-aid sushi (so good) vegan wraps, fruit salad with mint julep and tabbouleh salad. We said goodbye the next day, its crazy to think that we wont see her for a year and a half.

Back at home we have been enjoying march madness. Something my family really never got into with 4 girls and 1 boy, but now I have a house full of boys, and they love this stuff! Bridger watched a little with David before bed. I put him to bed. David started to play the game again, Bridger could hear it and got up and started crying. I went to calm him down. He just kept pointing to the living room, and saying "dada, baba" So I let him and Asher watch more of the game with David.
This morning we had a wonderful Easter morning. The boys got their baskets, they enjoyed getting new markers and nice crayons and new little stuffed animals. After breakfast we went to the cemetery and sat on a blanket and sang Easter songs and David shared and Easter message. It was so peaceful to be outside and to be talking about the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. Asher loved seeing all of the flowers put out on the graves, and Bridger loved hearing all of the birds singing in the trees. We could have stayed a lot longer but we had to hurry to church. Asher said "can we come back again"
For dinner Jennifer and Alex and Sandy and John came over. We had an Easter egg hunt first.
Love those blue eyes! This is a good shirt for Bridger. "chomp chomp" he is a biter. He is a feisty little boys and if you do something he doesn't like then he will try to bite.

After dinner we played with trick eggs. We each got one to crack on our head. Everyone ended up cracking them on someone elses head, and confetie popped out.
 Alex got Jennifer pretty good.
